Picrosirius Red Scanning with Polarized Light: New Use Case

  • 1 min read

Picrosirius Red staining is widely used to visualize collagen structures, especially in combination with polarized light microscopy. With mvSlide, PSR-stained sections can be digitized not only in brightfield, but also under cross-polarized light using standard microscope setups – something that is not supported by many automated slide scanners.

We have put together a short use case on Picrosirius Red Scanning with mvSlide including example scans for both, brightfield and polarized light imaging. Read the full use case for more information.
